The Clash: Revolution Rock Radio Special


1059 The Rock, in cooperation with Sony BMG Music Entertainment/Legacy Recordings and Joyride Media, brings you a one-hour special detailing the enduring legacy of The Clash through exclusive and archival interviews, as well as their best-known anthems that made them one of the most influential bands of the late 70's and early 80's.

The Clash's members Joe Strummer, Mick Jones, Paul Simonon and Topper Headon speak about their history with the band, including portions of an interview recorded shortly before Strummer's death in 2002.

"The Clash: Revolution Rock," a DVD released in April 2008 by Sony BMG/Legacy Recordings, follows the live transformation of the band, incorporating footage from all phases of the Clash’s meteoric career, beginning with live-in-the-studio clips and climaxing with a blow-out performance at New York’s Shea Stadium in 1982.
