Wow! I still remember driving down the road, listening to the radio, and hearing John Lennon had been murdered.

Rolling Stone Magazine released this, and is great for Lennon fans to pick up.  It's a full interview done with Lennon just weeks before he died.

Back in my Government Cheese band days, we were playing in New York City, and went by the Dakota where John lived. 

My great friend and guitarist, Tommy Womack went down the entrance gate when the security guard moved away, and stood in the spot where Lennon was shot.  Tommy said it was one of those moments when you have to 'be there.'
