Safe Haven Family Shelter gives families hope in Middle Tennessee.  Some folks are umemployed, some displaced for other reasons, and they have a place to stay together as a family unit in this transitional time.

In Nashville, almost 1,600 children in Metro School system will experience homelessness during the course of a year!  Safe Haven Family Shelter can deal with 20 some families at a time.  Now, magnify your home bills by that much!  They need some funds!

Dancing for Safe Haven Family Shelter is the great benefit coming up Sat. March 2nd, at the Lowe's Vanderbilt!

Here's your link for tickets.

Even if you can't make it, check out the Safe Haven website for how you can donate, either your time or money.

News 2's John Dwyer is one of the celebrity dancers

John and I did a Football Friday segment for 7 years on 105.9 the Rock, when he was the Host of the Jeff Fisher Show.  John is a very humble guy.  He does a lot of non-profit work in Nashville, always a gentleman, and someone I'm proud to call friend.

He'll compete against 5 other couples.

Hurt on the first lesson?  Will John grow a cheesy mustache and mullet for a Jeff Fisher tribute?

There is on-line voting for your favorite couple.  I'm asking 105.9 fans to pull for John Dwyer.

Cast your vote here once a day!
