I've been glued to all these Rock Movies, Documentaries here lately!
I think it's great that the stories be told to another generation. This is a Rock and Roll History class in this movie: Sound City.
I'm getting a kick out of the 'New young Country' generation. It is nothing but the youngies venting their arena rock roots of listening to their parents music.
Every artist you hear, talks about growning up listening to The Stones, Journey, Tom Petty type bands. You glorify the past when the future dries up!
Even the latest 'grunge' carryovers, are covering what are now classic rock songs.
It's a great compliment to all the artists we play on 105.9 The Rock, and I love it! We are your home for the greatest music ever made. No other format on the radio can even come close to saying that.
Sound City was the recording studio where most of your favorite albums (and I mean albums) were recorded. What a legendary place!
