Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Every generation has a different perspective on the 'I Have a Dream,' speech.

Less than a year after this speech, Martin Luther King, Jr. would be assassinated in Memphis, in 1964.

Ironic that the racial tensions were so great at that time, and now on this very day, President Obama is inaugurated around the same steps where King gave his speech.

MLK Quotes:

'Darkness  cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate;  only love can do that.'

'Faith  is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase.'

'I have decided to stick with love. Hate is too great a burden to bear.'

'A  man who won't die for something is not fit to live.'

MLK was only 39.
