Along with working at Clear Channel radio, I am also a drummer and singer and am what you'd call a "weekend warrior" - playing in a couple of different bands in my spare time.

Although I had not taken a lesson in YEARS, I started back up last year with a fine Nashville-area teacher named Charlie Adams. Charlie is best known for his drumming with Yanni and has been playing with him for decades. In fact, Charlie and Yanni used to be in a Minneapolis, Minnesota-based band called Chameleon in the early 1980's. Charlie was one of the first drummers to use a rotating drum kit during his solos. Tommy Lee from Motley Crue is doing a similiar thing now but I would guess Charlie wouldn't accuse Tommy of ripping him off!
