The Metro Council has approved a proposal to name a section of 14th Avenue after a popular radio DJ that died earlier this year. After more than a decade on the air at 101.1 The Beat, 33-year-old Curtis "Scooby" Senior passed away in February from a heart attack. The proposal requires a final reading in December.

It's been less than a year since our beloved co-worker Scooby passed away unexpectedly. We all miss him greatly and this is just one of many ways we can keep his memory alive. R.I.P. Scooby!
