Alright rockers, I am back from my Mountain vacation with lots to report! Denver, Colorado is a great city and I encourage anyone who has not had the chance to spend time there to make plans to do so in the near future. One highlight of my adventure included a Colorado Rockies game. Coors Field is an amazing ballpark to view a Major League Baseball game. Of course, when in Rome...a few Coors beers were consumed as part of the experience. The main reason I took this trip was to attend the Aerosmith / Cheap Trick concert at The Pepsi Center last Wednesday. Anyone who has listened to my weekend show on The Rock knows I am a HARDCORE Aero fan! The band was, as usual, in fine form. Steven Tyler strutted the stage like the psycho-peacock that he is, Joe Perry lived up to his nickname Joe F*CKING Perry, Brad Whitford has always been a great guitarist, Tom Hamilton held down the bottom in fine form and Joey Kramer just gets better and better on the skins! Special thanks to The Rock's Mountain correspondent The Good Doctor for providing the tickets, lodging and everything else needed to make this a memorable trip! Here's some pretty good amatuer video of the band doing their Beatles cover in the Mile High City...
