Black Ice: The AC/DC Radio Special


1059 The Rock, in cooperation with Columbia Records and Walmart, brings you a two-hour special celebrating the release of the first AC/DC studio album in 8 years - Black Ice! 

According to Angus Young, the term Black Ice refers to playing gigs during the winter in the Young brothers' native country of Scotland.  In an interview, Angus said that "it rolled off the tongue" and that it reminds him of "radio warnings up north of black ice."

In this radio special, originally recorded in October, you'll hear selections from the new "Black Ice" CD plus interviews with the band and many of their biggest hits.  AC/DC's "Black Ice" is available exclusively at Walmart & Sam's Club.
