A New "Let It Be" Video Released For The Re-Release Of The Movie

The Beatles released an alternate cut of the "Let It Be" promotional video that's been the sole representation of the song till just now. The new video has different angles of the performance of the song that was filmed for the end of the original documentary that's been remastered by Disney + and is streaming now. The video begins the same was as the old one, but quickly changes to a different angle where George Harrison is seen just past Paul McCartney waving at the camera like a kid caught on video.

Disney redefined the end of The Beatles with the Peter Jackson documentary "Get Back," which took the raw footage shot in the making of the infamous documentary "Let It Be". Jackson's Get Back gave a better in depth look at the recording of the Let It Be album and how the documentary's Director Lindsay-Hogg may have been more of the nemesis to the process of the recording for The Beatles than the way things were shown in the Let It Be film.

Now Disney has re-released the original documentary remastered with the same process used for the Get Back documentary giving fans two sides to the overall story in full HD.

Both films are on Disney + for streaming on the day that the final Beatles album "Let It Be" was released.

One way or another The Beatles we're going to some to an end but the true embers of the factors that lead to that can be seen in both films.

Check out the trailer for Let It Be and stream the album on the iHeartRadio App NOW!
